The Falcons hosted an OAA Red game vs Troy United last night and put up a great fight against Troy. The Falcons finished the 1st period leading 2-0 on Goals from Collin Rea and Kris Kozoro. The Rea goal came with an assist from Tanner Neill. The Kozoro goal was scored with .03 left in the period with assists going to Danny Heffron and Nate Arnold. Troy United scored the only two goals on rebounds in the second period and that period ended tied at 2. The Falcons grabbed an early lead in the 3rd when Tanner Neill scored from Zak Kniffen and Nick Pearen. But the lead did not last long when Troy scored 3 unanswered goals in 3 minutes. With the Goalie pulled and on the power play, Tanner Neill scored again from Nick Pearen to cut the lead to 5-4 at 2:41 in the period, but could not manage another goal and the game ended with the loss 5-4.
The Falcons fall to 1-4-0 in the OAA red division and have an overall record of 4-6-2 for the season. The Next game is another OAA red divisional game vs Rochester United at the ONYX Ice Arena this Friday December 22 at 8:30 pm.
